Roma Madan Soni

Roma Madan Soni is an artist and an art historian. She has been employed in academia, in the field of art and design for almost three decades. She is an Assistant Professor Art and Design at Box Hill College Kuwait. She has a doctorate from the University of Wolverhampton, and masters from the State University of New York and the University of Sunderland, and is an IB visual arts examiner. She was one of 10 international artists who exhibited in Re_use 2019 and showcased her work for ‘Abolish Article 153’, 2019 and ‘Harmony in the City’ in Masaha 13, amongst other exhibits. Her interdisciplinary approach works towards her students’ being an essential part of creatively building new, more justifiable and sustainable assemblies and systems that engage in the more significant, more urgent questions of our time.
